What are students' backgrounds?
Most WBS students seem to know something about Christianity. They are generally educated, have access to the Internet (of course), and are usually over 20 years old. The average age for WBS email students is between 25-45. WBS students' occupations will range from students to homemakers to bankers and physicians.
What are student looking for?
Some are seeking to live daily as disciples of Jesus. Others enroll seeking a Bible knowledge to help them overcome a trial or temptation. Through WBS students, you will come to learn that people from nearly every country are looking to know God. This common desire is the starting place for most of the spiritual relationships that develop between WBS teachers and their students.

| I have seen the WBS advert in the Kenyan Daily Nation newspaper hundreds of times but never bothered to give it more than a glance. However, on the day I enrolled, it tugged at my heart and there was no doubt in my mind that I had to apply. I have been praying to God to reveal to me what His plan for my life is. I believe that being a student of WBS is part of that plan and it is no mistake that the WBS advert caught my attention and propelled me into action. I hope to gain greater insight into the person of God and strengthen the foundation of my faith in God. I feel the urge to grow in leaps and bounds spiritually and be a vessel through which God can use that knowledge in me to reach others. I look forward to the Bible lessons. |
