Privacy Policy
This privacy policy covers how WBS uses personal information collected and received. This includes but is not limited to the information gained upon enrollment and active participation with WBS as offered by the organization. Personal information about you that is "personally identifiable" such as name, e-mail, postal address, and phone number and that is not otherwise publicly available are gathered and regarded as private. It is not WBS policy to share any information you submit in application to be a WBS Teacher.This policy does not apply to the practices of other organizations that WBS does not own/control, or to people/organizations that WBS does not employ or manage.
The WBS teacher site is a targeted audience web site intended for a particular set of users which are seeking to teach WBS students with WBS provided materials.
Information Collection and Use
WBS collects personal information when you register as a teacher,
when you request promotional materials, when you visit WBS pages,
and when you enter into contractual agreements with WBS.
If you register to be a WBS teacher, we ask for information such as your first/last name, e-mail address, mailing address, city, state/ region/province, zip/postal/country code, country, phone number, occupation, gender, marital status, congregation name, congregation city, congregation state/region/province, personal experience, technical expertise, equipment available, personal practices, and any other additional comments. At the point of registration submission with WBS for the position as a volunteer WBS teacher you are not anonymous to WBS.
WBS collects information about you for the purpose of evaluating your suitability to engage in a volunteer relationship with WBS students. By submitting the application form to be a WBS teacher, you voluntarily submit personal information about yourself for the evaluation of this purpose. WBS automatically receives and records on WBS server(s) information from your browser, including your IP address, and the page you request to view.
WBS uses information about you for the minimum following purposes: to customize advertising and site content, answer requests for products/services, improve the quality of services provided to you, to contact you or the congregation at which your attend, conduct research, and provided anonymous reports for WBS and non-WBS individuals.
WBS collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested. WBS does use personal information specifically limited to religion without your explicit consent.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
WBS will never rent, sell, share, or exchange any personal information
about your with any other individual except to provide products/services
you have requested, directly or indirectly. You provide WBS permission
for the use of this information upon enrollment request as a WBS
teacher.
Your information may be shared with any individual attempting to perform follow-up on a WBS student you are currently working with or have worked with in the past upon student request to complete follow-up you request. These individuals may use this personal information to communicate with you. However, these individuals hold no right to share or use your information beyond the needs of fulfillment for a follow-up request.
WBS will act in response to subpoenas, court orders, and legal process to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.WBS may find it necessary to share information in order to prevent, investigate, or engage in legal action, those activities which are suspected to be of an illegal nature. WBS Teachers are required to share the minimum contact information of their e-mail address with WBS students. This is due to the nature of the volunteer relationship which is fostered at WBS where WBS teachers and WBS students communicate directly with one another.
Information Updates
You may change any personal information at any time upon request;
it may be deleted at any time. It is your responsibility, as a WBS teacher to login to myWBS Internet or myWBS Postal to update personal information as change requires.
WBS reserves the right to deactivate a teacher's account at any time without
notice.
WBS Privacy Policy Changes
It should be noted that this policy may be updated or changed without notice.
