myWBS Login Help

Only "activated" WBS Internet Teachers are given access to the myWBS, the "Getting Started" information, the "WBS Courses", or the "Resources" sections of the Internet Teacher website. If you are not a WBS Teacher and would like to become one, please submit an application.

If you are an active WBS Internet Teacher and need to know how to access myWBS, the Getting Started information, WBS Courses, and the Resources, the following will provide you with the proper login instructions.

When you attempt to access these pages in these sections, you will be prompted with a dialogue box similar to the one below.

Activated WBS Internet Teachers will be able to access the restricted portions of the site by using the E-mail address last registered as the username and your Teacher ID as your password.

After you have successfully logged in, please make sure that you take the proper measure to secure your login information. If you share your computer with others, please note that saving your password in your browser will allow them access.

If when you attempt to login to the myWBS you do not see the dialogue box appear or you instead see a "Authorization Required" page display (as seen in the example below), then you may need to adjust your web browser's settings in order to view the page.

Note that should you willingly choose to attempt the recommendations posted here, that you do so at your own risk and WBS cannot guarantee the results.

Basically, what you will do is reset the browser to its factory settings. To do this, go to the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options". A new box will appear with several tabs at the top; you will only visit the "Security" tab and the "Advanced Tab".

  1. Click the "Security" tab and click the "Default Level" button; then
  2. Click the "Advanced" tab and click the "Restore Defaults"; then click the "OK" button at the very bottom (the options window will close).

Doing this may require you to restart your computer. If it does, restart and then go back to the Internet Teacher web site and try to login again, you should see the dialogue box to enter your username and password now.

If you have any third party software installed that controls your web browser settings (An example of this might be Norton Internet Security), it may restore it's settings from the changes you made to your browser upon restart .

If you do not remember your Teacher ID or if you believe your e-mail address has changed, then contact WBS Administration at: helpdesk@wbschool.org for assistance.
